Fleet for every Rhodes adventure
City hatchbacks for tight Old Town streets, 4WDs for remote southern beaches, automatics for resort-to-resort touring.
From UNESCO-listed medieval streets to Bronze Age ruins and turquoise coves – set your own pace.

UNESCO World Heritage cobblestone lanes, the Street of the Knights, and the Palace of the Grand Master – park outside the walls and walk in.

Whitewashed village, a classical acropolis with Doric temple, and a sheltered bay – arrive early before tour buses.

Shaded woodland gorge where thousands of Jersey Tiger moths gather July–September; a cool midday escape.

Long sandy east-coast beaches with shallow water; easy half-day trip between sightseeing stops.
Rhodes stretches 78 km tip to tip – these routes make the most of every hour behind the wheel.

75–90 min one way
Drive the full length of the island to a sandy isthmus where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean; epic for photos and kitesurfing.

40–70 min one way
Excavated Doric city on the west coast, then a clifftop medieval castle with panoramic Aegean views.

30–40 min one way
Seven Springs nature reserve with a tunnel walk to a forest lake, then a swim at the sandy Kolymbia beach.

20–30 min one way
Art Deco thermal spa complex with snorkelling bays, then Rhodes' most famous resort beach for lunch and a swim.
Airport pickup logistics
Share your flight number so the supplier meets you curbside at RHO arrivals – the handover is fast and paperwork is minimal.
Port ferry arrivals
Ferry schedules can shift; message the supplier 30 min before docking and they'll be waiting at the port gate.
Old Town parking
Vehicles are not allowed inside the medieval walls; use the signposted municipal lots at Mandraki or Eleftherias Gate.
Lindos in the morning
Arrive before 09:00 to climb the acropolis in cooler air and find parking before the coach convoys begin.
West vs east coast roads
The east coast highway is fast and smooth; western villages use narrow winding roads – factor extra time.
No tolls, fuel up south
Rhodes has no toll roads. Fill the tank before heading to Prasonisi or Monolithos – petrol stations thin out past Genadi.

Rhodes is an island, so all rentals start and end at the same point — either Rhodes Airport (RHO) or Rhodes Port. One-way drop-offs at a different spot on the island are not available. If you arrive by air and depart by ferry (or vice versa), note it in your booking and we will arrange the return accordingly.
We offer pickup at Rhodes Airport (RHO) and Rhodes Port. Add your preferred pickup point and your flight or ferry number when booking — our local partners will be waiting for you.
A compact or economy car handles most east-coast routes, Old Town visits, and resort-to-resort drives with ease. For the deep south — Prasonisi, Monolithos, Ancient Kamiros, or beaches reached via unsurfaced tracks — a small SUV or crossover gives extra confidence. Never take a rental off marked roads: it voids all insurance.
Share your flight number at booking. Our local partner will meet you curbside at the arrivals hall — no shuttle, no queuing at a desk. Paperwork takes only a few minutes and you are on the road straight away, even after a late-night landing.
Yes. Ferry schedules can shift, so message the supplier about 30 minutes before docking and they will be waiting at the port with your car ready.
Most vehicles require a minimum age of 21 with at least one year of licence experience. Drivers aged 21–24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge depending on the car category. The no-credit-card and zero-deposit policy with Premium Insurance still applies to young drivers.
Public buses cover the main resorts but run infrequently and do not reach Prasonisi, Monolithos, Ancient Kamiros, or the remote southern beaches. A rental car is the only practical way to see the whole island at your own pace — and with Premium Insurance, the total cost is often lower than you expect.
Book in minutes, pick up at RHO Airport or the port, and drive with Premium Insurance and zero deposit.
