No Credit Card, No Deposit
Our Premium Insurance (Zero Excess) is supplied directly by the rental company, so no credit card hold or security deposit is needed. Pay with debit or cash on arrival at KGS.
KGS Airport pick-up & drop-off
All rentals start and end at Kos International Airport (KGS) arrivals – your car is waiting the moment you land, and the return is just as quick before your flight home.
Local rates, zero hidden fees
What you book is what you pay. No airport surcharge, no amendment fees, no surprises at the counter.
Real insurance – not a broker voucher
Unlike aggregators, your Zero Excess cover comes directly from the supplier. No 'pay now, claim later' reimbursement stress.
Fleet for every Kos adventure
City hatchbacks for Kos Town's bike-friendly streets, automatics for the run up to Zia, and crossovers for the Kefalos beaches and dirt tracks.
From the world's oldest healing sanctuary to mountain sunsets and pink-flamingo lagoons – set your own pace from the airport.

The ancient healing sanctuary linked to Hippocrates, terraced on a pine hillside with sweeping views over the strait to Turkey.

The Castle of the Knights guarding the harbour, the Ancient Agora, and the famous Hippocrates Plane Tree – park at the marina and walk in.

A stone-built mountain village famous for the best sunset on the island, herb shops, and tavernas above the clouds.

A long shallow sandy beach beside a salt lagoon where flamingos gather in spring – ideal for families and an easy half-day.
Kos stretches about 50 km tip to tip and the airport sits in the middle – these routes make the most of every hour behind the wheel.

20–25 min one way
Drive west to Kamari Bay, the Agios Stefanos basilica ruins, and the tiny islet of Kastri rising from a long golden beach.

35–40 min one way
Past Kos Town to a pebble cove where natural thermal water bubbles into a sea pool walled off from the waves – a free open-air spa.

10–20 min one way
A short hop north to the fishing port of Mastichari for fresh seafood and ferries to Kalymnos, then inland to the ruined Byzantine castle of Old Pyli.

15–20 min one way
The famous golden-sand bays of the south coast, where volcanic gas bubbles rise through the shallows at Bubble Beach – swimsuit-ready in minutes from KGS.
Airport pick-up logistics
Share your flight number so the supplier meets you curbside at KGS arrivals – the handover is fast and paperwork is minimal, even after a late landing.
Same-airport drop-off
Your car is returned to Kos International Airport (KGS) where you collected it. Leave around 90 minutes before your flight to refuel and hand back without rushing.
Kos Town parking
The centre is pedestrian and cyclist heavy; use the free marina and waterfront lots, then explore the Agora and castle on foot.
Watch for cyclists
Kos is one of Greece's most bike-friendly islands. Cycle lanes line the main roads near Kos Town and Tigaki – pass wide and slow.
Fuel up before the west
Kos has no toll roads. Petrol stations cluster around the airport and Kos Town, so top up before long days around Kefalos.
Mountain roads to Zia
The climb to Zia is paved but narrow with tight bends; go up in daylight and enjoy the sunset, then descend slowly with headlights on.

All Kos rentals are picked up and dropped off at Kos International Airport (KGS). Your car is ready at arrivals the moment you land, and you return it to the same airport before your flight home — simple and time-saving.
Pick-up and drop-off are at Kos International Airport (KGS) only. From the airport you are perfectly placed in the centre of the island, with Kos Town, Kefalos, Tigaki and Zia all within easy reach.
Share your flight number when booking. Our local partner meets you curbside at the KGS arrivals hall — no shuttle, no desk queue. Paperwork takes only a few minutes and you are on the road straight away, even after a late-night landing.
A compact or economy car handles Kos Town, Tigaki, the Asklepion and the run to Zia with ease. For the Kefalos beaches and a few unpaved tracks in the far west, a small SUV or crossover adds confidence. Never take a rental onto unmarked dirt roads — it voids all insurance.
Most vehicles require a minimum age of 21 with at least one year of licence experience. Drivers aged 21–24 may pay a young-driver surcharge depending on the car category. The no-credit-card and zero-deposit policy with Premium Insurance still applies to young drivers.
Buses cover the main resorts but run infrequently and skip the Asklepion, Zia, Therma hot springs and the best Kefalos beaches. With pick-up right at KGS Airport, a rental is the fastest way to see the whole island at your own pace — often cheaper than juggling buses and taxis.
It depends on the rental partner. If you see the "Ferry Boarding Permission" option in the extras at checkout, that partner allows the car to travel by ferry — just add it to your booking (it may be free or charged per ferry trip, so a return crossing counts twice). If the option isn't shown, that partner does not permit taking the vehicle off Kos: leave the car at your hotel or at Mastichari and cross to Kalymnos, Pserimos or Nisyros as a foot passenger.
Book in minutes, pick up right at KGS Airport, and drive with Premium Insurance and zero deposit.
